There are some movie ideas that will only work if Nicolas Cage is the star - and Primal is one of them.
The plot is absurd even by his standards - a ship containing a big game hunter haul of wild animals he has captured in Brazil to sell for big bucks to zoos and other blood thirsty bastards back in the States is hijacked by a serial killer who is being transported to trial on the same massive vessel.
It's already a dangerous combo, but things get a lot more wild (literally) when the crook escapes and decides to let ALL the beasts loose, including poisonous snakes and a rare white jaguar that Cage's Frank Walsh must keep alive at all costs.
It's a classic creature feature, and will be released just in time for Valentine's Day. So you know, you can enjoy a bit of a beastfest in the bedroom, even if you're single or dating someone who is as sexually dynamic as a sloth.
