Body modifier Anthony Loffredo, aka The Black Alien Project, has already sliced off his nose, ears, and upper lip - and his fingers are next to get the chop.

The 33-year-old Frenchman told fans that he will fly to Mexico in September to get two fingers removed from each hand as he continues with his life's mission to transform in to an alien of his own design.

He has been dropping hints for months that his next body mod op will be a big one, sharing models of chunky reptilian hands that have just a thumb and two forefingers, as well as drawings of how he imagines his new mitts will look.

Loffredo has also shared pictures of hands with missing digits post-surgery, as well as fan art by Arkon Skirrid showing him rejecting his pinky and ring finger.

However, his decision has divided his 421,000 followers, with some urging him to merely sew his fingers together to make two thick ones, and others pleading for him to reconsider.

Others questioned how he would still keep up with his brutal exercise regime - but the Black Alien himself addressed this in an Instagram story.

He claims that seeing how his body adapts to the changes he makes is part of the transformation process, and he is excited to see how he copes with having the outer halves of his digits removed.
